KOECO, led by CEO Cho Wan-soo, has hosted the Korean Pavilion at the COSME Week Osaka, held from September 30 to October 2, 2026, at the Intex Osaka. This beauty exhibition, which occurs biannually in Tokyo and Osaka, serves as a premier B2B platform encompassing the entire value chain of the cosmetics sector, including finished products distribution, ODM/OEM services, packaging, labeling, and marketing.
This year's event marks the 7th installment of COSME Week Osaka, where attendees from the western Japanese beauty market constitute over 80% of the audience. As a leading exhibition in western Japan, the COSME Week Osaka is recognized for its high visibility. The exhibition takes place in Halls 4 and 5 of the Intex Osaka, with COSME Osaka focusing on finished beauty products and COSME Tech showcasing ingredients, manufacturing technology, packaging, and marketing platforms.
At the event, KOECO has established a significant Korean Pavilion comprising around 20 prominent Korean beauty companies, showcasing various dimensions of K-beauty, from manufacturing to branding, innovative materials, and beauty devices. Four promising beauty firms from Daegu, supported by Daegu Technopark, also participated, featuring skincare and hair & body care products to attract attendees.

To continue the expansion of Korean beauty brands in the Japanese market, KOECO, as the organizing body of the Korean Pavilion, plans to operate a similar pavilion at B2B trade shows targeting Japan in 2027. Currently, KOECO is recruiting companies to participate in the Korean Pavilion at COSME Week Tokyo in February 2027, in addition to plans for the Lifestyle Week Tokyo - Health & Beauty exhibition in June 2027 and COSME Week Osaka in September 2027.
