The Korean Makeup Professionals Exchange Association (Hanmejik Hyup), led by President An Mi-ryeo, recently conducted a seminar at Mongolia's City University on September 21, 2026. This event brought together around 200 beauty majors from the university to engage in a comprehensive training on 'Personal Color Diagnosis and K-Beauty Makeup.'

The seminar aimed to introduce Korean beauty education and the current industry landscape to Mongolian beauty students, establishing a foundation for ongoing exchanges between the two nations' universities and beauty sectors.

During the opening of the seminar, President An Mi-ryeo delivered a lecture on 'Vision and Leadership in the Beauty Industry.' She discussed the rapidly evolving global beauty landscape and the potential of K-Beauty, conveying messages about the expertise and leadership future beauty professionals will need.

Following this, Lee Seung-ah, an executive of Hanmejik Hyup, focused on personal color diagnosis, explaining the fundamental principles of color and how to utilize colors based on individual images. This was complemented by a K-Beauty makeup demonstration that directly applied these concepts.

Particularly noteworthy was the seminar’s structure, which moved away from a purely theoretical model to demonstrate the connection between personal color and makeup. This approach helped students grasp the relationship between color, image, and makeup more easily.

Approximately 200 beauty majors attended the seminar, engaging actively and showing considerable interest throughout the event. After the seminar, a meeting was held with City University's President Ts. Baigalmaa. Both parties discussed future collaboration opportunities regarding beauty education programs and expert exchanges, aiming to establish a concrete structure for ongoing cooperation beyond this singular event.

A representative from Hanmejik Hyup expressed hope that this seminar would serve as a stepping stone for Mongolian beauty majors to experience Korean beauty education and industry practices directly, thus fostering their development into global beauty experts. The association looks forward to expanding exchanges with overseas universities and educational institutions to promote K-Beauty educational content and expertise, establishing tangible cooperative relations.
