Amorepacific participated in the 2026 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference held in Cannes, France, from September 27 to October 1, focusing on strengthening its global duty-free partnerships. This marks the company’s 13th appearance at the event since its debut in 2012.

The TFWA World Exhibition, organized by the Tax Free World Association, is the largest duty-free business event where global brands, distributors, airports, and airlines convene to discuss new business opportunities and partnerships within the duty-free sector.

At the exhibition, Amorepacific highlighted major products and brand stories, concentrating on Laneige, which continues to experience growth in international markets, and its luxury brand Sulwhasoo. Additionally, the company showcased products from Hera and Aestura, presenting a diverse brand portfolio from makeup to dermatological beauty, emphasizing the unique global competitiveness of each brand.

During the exhibition, Amorepacific engaged in business meetings with key global duty-free distributors and partners, reinforcing existing collaborations. The company explored opportunities for expanding into new markets and distribution channels across its entire brand portfolio. Based on these discussions, Amorepacific aims to enhance Laneige’s global duty-free operations and strengthen Sulwhasoo’s luxury competitiveness while continuously seeking new market entry opportunities for Hera and Aestura.

Baek Doo-bae, Executive Director of Amorepacific’s Travel Retail Division, stated, “As consumer behaviors and brand touchpoints for global travelers rapidly evolve, new growth opportunities in the duty-free market are being created.” He added, “We will continue to closely collaborate with key partners to ensure that more global travelers can experience Amorepacific’s brands in various regions.”

Currently, Amorepacific collaborates with 23 duty-free distributors across 33 countries and 53 cities, engaging global customers in over 230 duty-free stores across 52 airports. Last year, the company entered ten duty-free markets in Europe, including France, the UK, and Germany, with a focus on advancing new market development led by Laneige. This year, it has expanded Laneige’s presence in airport duty-free stores in the US, Canada, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Poland. Moving forward, Amorepacific plans to further enhance its global duty-free operations, including expanding into Latin American markets such as Mexico.
