O'sulloc, a leading luxury tea brand from South Korea, is launching the 'Beyond Tea, Into Gourmet' campaign. This initiative aims to extend the experience of drinking tea into new culinary contexts, promoting a varied approach to enjoying tea in everyday life.
The campaign features four signature blended teas: 'Samda Honey Pear Tea', which embodies the sweetness of pears and honey; 'Jeju Samda Yenggyeol Tea', known for its vibrant flavor of Jeju's yenggyeol; 'Jeju Camellia Flower Tea', combining the essence of camellia blossoms and tropical fruits; and 'Peach Black Tea', which enriches robust black tea with peach notes. These will serve as bases for various recipes and food pairings, showcasing innovative ways to enjoy the unique flavors of tea with food.
Chef Son Jong-won, known for modern reinterpretations of Korean cuisine, collaborates with O'sulloc to reimagine traditional Korean desserts. He has developed 'Samda Honey Pear Dessert', utilizing the 'Samda Honey Pear Tea', and 'Samda Yenggyeol Tea Dressing', ideal for salads and further culinary applications. These recipes propose using tea not only as a beverage but also as a flavor-enhancing ingredient in cooking.
Through this collaboration, O'sulloc plans to continuously introduce new ways to enjoy tea by working with various culinary experts. Practical content, including accessible recipes and pairing tips, will be released in stages, aiming to enhance the connection between tea and gourmet experiences.
