GFC BioScience, led by CEO Kang Hee-cheol, has announced that its dermacosmetic brand fmk's 'Rejuvenating PDRN Kit' has been selected as one of the Top 3 products in the skincare category at the 2026 K-Beauty Expo Korea.

The 'Rejuvenating PDRN Kit' features proprietary ingredient development technology along with freeze-drying technology, enabling users to mix a freeze-dried cube with an ampoule just before use. Launched in March of this year, fmk has introduced other products including the 'Calming Alpha Exo Kit' and the 'Signature Timeless Kit.'

The MD’s Pick program involves product selection by key merchandise planners (MD) from major distributors. The judging panel included representatives from the Korean MD Association, Lotte Duty-Free, 11th Street, Gmarket, and Lotte Mart, with a final selection from over 160 participants to identify 10 promising brands.

Following this recognition, GFC BioScience plans to continue business discussions initiated at the expo, targeting entry into major domestic distribution channels and the discovery of new partnerships. Furthermore, leveraging the exclusive supply contracts established in August with local distributors in Vietnam and Italy, the company aims to accelerate its overseas distribution network.

Kang Hee-cheol, CEO of GFC BioScience, stated that the recognition of the 'Rejuvenating PDRN Kit' as a Top 3 MD's Pick is a testament to its product strength and market viability as acknowledged by leading MDs. He emphasized the company’s commitment to leveraging its accumulated bioscience R&D capabilities to introduce differentiated products and expand in both domestic and international markets.

Additionally, in July, research findings from GFC BioScience's team on plant-derived Skin Longevity materials were published in the international journal 'Antioxidants.' The researchers confirmed through cell experiments the potential of plant-derived extracts, such as those from water lilies, to selectively eliminate aging skin cells. The company is poised to advance the development of next-generation bioscience materials and their application in cosmetic products based on these research results.
