THOME, a private aesthetic brand under Home Lifestyle Solutions led by CEO Yang Jeong-ho, has officially entered the UK market through the MOIDA beauty store operated by global K-beauty distributor Silicon2. The brand commenced sales at the MOIDA store located in Westfield Stratford City, London, on the 24th.
THOME plans to sequentially open additional locations in London, including stores in Soho and Battersea Power Station later this year. The product lineup comprises a total of 14 items, featuring the 'The Glow Signature' ultrasonic device, six complementary boost ampoules, and seven dermo skincare products, aimed at broadening its customer base in the UK.
The flagship product, 'The Glow Signature', is designed for a comfortable user experience without any tingling sensations. It utilizes dual-frequency ultrasound technology at 3MHz and 10MHz, assisting in anti-aging care by enhancing elasticity, hydration, and radiance. Users are advised to apply the dedicated boost ampoule before using the device for 12 minutes, akin to a nightly mask routine.
The accompanying boost ampoules have expanded to include six varieties: peptide (pores), niacinamide (brightening), exosomes (skin barrier), PDRN (elasticity), hyaluronic acid (hydration), and a new product featuring PHA (trouble and soothing). This selection allows users to tailor their skincare routine based on specific skin concerns.
Included in the collection are three popular serum products from the dermo skincare line: CPR, ABC, and PPM. The CPR serum is formulated with collagen, peptides, and retinal, targeting wrinkle management. The ABC serum for international sales combines azelaic acid, vitamin B3 (niacinamide), and Centella Asiatica to effectively address oiliness, exfoliation, and blemish marks. Meanwhile, the PPM serum contains PDRN, panthenol, and madecassoside to support skin calming and barrier management.
Previously, THOME expanded its sales channels in the US via e-commerce platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop, followed by partnerships with beauty-focused retailers such as Olive Young and Sephora. In Europe, the brand aims to expand its market presence based on sales trends and customer feedback in the UK, with discussions underway for potential entries into France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
A THOME brand representative remarked on their focus on the growth of Korean cosmetics exports in European markets, emphasizing the aim to provide many local consumers with professional skincare management through their ultrasonic device and high-functionality skincare products. They indicated plans to further expand local sales based on market responses in the UK and broaden their operations into major European markets.
