Yoon Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman of Kolmar Group, expressed strong confidence in the sustainable growth of K-Beauty, stating, “Can K-Beauty sustain its growth? The answer is 100% YES.” His remarks came during a speech at the 'Amazon Beauty in Seoul 2026' event held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on the 27th.

According to Yoon, the driving force behind K-Beauty's continuous growth lies in a well-connected industrial ecosystem that integrates the emergence of new brands, ODM manufacturing, and global distribution. This ecosystem enables robust collaboration and innovation in the beauty sector.

The 'Amazon Beauty in Seoul 2026' event, which Kolmar has supported for three consecutive years since its first partnership with Amazon in 2024, gathered approximately 10,000 industry stakeholders online and offline, including cosmetic manufacturers, brands, distributors, and investors, to discuss strategies for succeeding in the global market.

During his presentation, Yoon highlighted that the continuous birth of new brands is essential for K-Beauty's growth. He noted that with good ideas, ODM companies like Kolmar can produce the products, and platforms like Amazon facilitate connections with consumers worldwide. This dynamic creates an environment conducive to the growth of new brands, which he identified as K-Beauty's true competitive advantage.

Kolmar showcased a booth at the event featuring products and technologies reflecting the latest global trends in skincare, makeup, personal care, and sun care, providing tailored consultations for clients. Notably, a collaborative information desk was set up with its packaging subsidiary, Yeonwoo, allowing attendees to inquire about formulations and packaging in one spot. There was also a dedicated consultation area for Amazon’s region-specific listings to foster discussions on product development and global expansion.

A representative from Kolmar remarked that the event confirmed K-Beauty’s position as a sustainable industry moving beyond temporary trends. The company is committed to actively supporting the birth and global growth of new K-Beauty brands, leveraging its partnership with Amazon.
