Specializing in cosmetics and plastic packaging, SIP has officially commenced construction of a new manufacturing facility in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 30, attended by Pastor Park Yo-seop and members of the 'Good Church' alongside EJ Pack representatives and SIP staff.

The ceremony was a significant occasion to celebrate the successful launch of the new plant and wish for safe construction. The new facility will be located at 366-3 Sagang-ri, Songsan-myeon, Hwaseong, with an area of 2,645 square meters and a total floor area of 1,272 square meters.

The two-story building will feature a general steel structure and serve as a comprehensive manufacturing hub that includes production facilities, office spaces, research and development, and design laboratories. Notably, the first floor will house a production area of approximately 840 square meters and will introduce a one-stop production system, enabling seamless integration of production processes from container manufacturing to printing and coating.

This strategic move is designed to improve production efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance quality stability to better meet diverse customer requirements. The facility will also feature advanced environmental management systems, including antimicrobial and humidity control, alongside the latest production equipment to systematically manage the manufacturing environment and improve product quality consistency.

The second floor will host office spaces along with research and development and design laboratories, fostering coordinated efforts across the entire process from product planning to design, development, and production. This synergy is expected to shorten new product development cycles and strengthen capabilities in custom packaging solutions.

SIP has a history of providing various plastic packaging solutions for the cosmetics and pharmaceuticals sectors, supporting clients in product development and enhancing brand competitiveness. Key product lines include mist and spray containers, airless containers, dropper bottles, eco-friendly pumps, and heavy brow containers, with customizable options for capacity, design, material, and post-processing.

The increasing demand for eco-friendly packaging and distinctive designs in the cosmetics market has prompted SIP to continuously strengthen its product competitiveness, including the introduction of recyclable PP material containers and airless systems. During the ceremony, Lee Hu-man, CEO of EJ Pack, commended the efforts of all involved in the facility's construction and shared aspirations for SIP's new journey.

Lee highlighted, "Today's groundbreaking is not merely about erecting a new building but is a significant starting point for preparing a brighter future based on the technology and experience we've accumulated over the years." He emphasized the company’s commitment to prioritizing quality and technology while proactively responding to the changing market environment to become a more trusted business partner.

SIP representatives indicated that the establishment of the new factory marks a crucial turning point, integrating production, R&D, and design capabilities to enhance competitiveness in the cosmetics packaging market, including expansion into pharmaceutical and inner beauty sectors.
