The Founders, a global brand builder company, has donated skincare products valued at 2 billion KRW to the international development NGO, G Foundation.
On the 28th of last month, The Founders held a product donation ceremony at its headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, where it shared the achievements of providing 97,250 products throughout the year across four separate donations. The ceremony reaffirmed the commitment to ongoing partnerships and charitable activities.
This donation initiative was planned under The Founders' belief that skincare is an essential daily necessity rather than a luxury. The aim is to empower individuals, from growing teenagers to the elderly, to care for their health and well-being.
The donated items include popular Anua skincare products such as 'Hwanggeumcho 77 Toner,' 'Peach Niacinamide Serum,' and 'Gel Cushion.' These products will be delivered to vulnerable young women through G Foundation's 'Run for the Moon' campaign and the 'Menstrual Kit Project' for adolescent girls. Additionally, some items will be sold at the 'G Foundation Store,' with proceeds being used for various welfare programs benefiting underserved communities.
A representative from The Founders stated, "We hope that everyone can enjoy the small joys of self-care and self-nurturing through this product donation." The company also expressed its intention to continue supporting healthy futures for neighbors in partnership with G Foundation.
Jung Ji-min, the Communications Department head at G Foundation, remarked, "This donation is particularly meaningful as it leads to ongoing support and practical actions for vulnerable communities rather than being a one-time contribution. We will continue to ensure that corporate charity becomes a tangible aid for those in need."
Moreover, The Founders has been consistently engaged in social contribution activities for marginalized groups throughout society. Notably, in April, they collaborated with professional baseball players Moon Dong-joo and Oh Sun-woo to support children from vulnerable households in their affiliated regions. Their support activities also include assistance for single-parent families, deliveries of relief supplies to areas affected by wildfires, and support for children suffering from rare skin diseases.
