Chungbuk Province participated in the '2026 Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas' held from July 13 to 15, securing $156 million in export contracts while showcasing its K-Beauty products. This event validates Chungbuk K-Beauty's strong global competitiveness in the largest beauty market, the United States.

A total of ten competent cosmetics companies from the province engaged in active export discussions with global buyers, marking a significant step toward entering the U.S. market and establishing a foothold for expanding global sales channels.

Since its inception in 2003, the Cosmoprof North America event in Las Vegas has been recognized as one of the three largest beauty trade fairs globally, alongside the Bologna and Hong Kong exhibitions, making it a premier B2B cosmetics showcase in North America.

During this year's fair, which saw participation from over 1,100 companies across 45 countries, the event became a platform for the latest beauty trends and global business collaborations.

Within individual company booths, five firms presented their offerings, including HP&NC (basic and functional cosmetics), CL Medisis (skin boosters), Gens International (skin boosters), NG Teen (basic and functional cosmetics), and Mignon Korea (eyelash perming products). In the joint promotional area, five other companies, including Korean Essential (eye cream), Poresgen (ultra-ami cream), Dejuvent (sunscreen), Pocom (foot care cosmetics), and Oldam (cleansing tissues), showcased their key products.

Active discussions focused on high-demand product categories in the U.S. market, such as functional cosmetics, skin boosters, and sun care products, highlighting the technological prowess and product competitiveness of local companies.

Building upon the overseas buyer network established at the fair, Chungbuk Province intends to continue close support for follow-up consultations and contract finalizations while expanding its phased overseas marketing through trade shows and export consultations, systematically assisting local cosmetics companies in entering the global market.

A representative from Chungbuk Province stated, “The U.S. market is a key market that leads global cosmetics industry trends and consumption. This fair provided a significant opportunity to confirm the global competitiveness of Chungbuk cosmetics.” Furthermore, they emphasized the commitment to enhancing tailored export support reflective of overseas market characteristics, striving for tangible export outcomes through proactive administration.
