CJ Olive Young has announced an open recruitment for experienced developers, incorporating an 'AI assignment' into the selection process.

Traditionally, Olive Young employed live coding assessments, requiring candidates to implement code in real-time. With a focus on discovering AI talent, the company is shifting to an 'AI assignment' phase designed to validate AI capabilities more comprehensively. This transition reflects the growing importance of possessing 'AI literacy' and the ability to solve problems collaboratively with AI technologies, positioning these as key competitive advantages.

Winners of the hackathon will receive a total prize of 10 million KRW, and successful candidates in Olive Young's project will benefit from expedited passage through the document review phase in the recruitment process.

An Olive Young representative emphasized, “Given the paradigm shift in the development environment, we have proactively adapted our talent identification methods. Through the newly introduced AI assignment phase, we aim to discover and cultivate 'AI-native' talent to continuously drive innovation in retail technology.”
