LG Household & Health Care's luxury cosmetic line THE WHOO is intensifying its efforts in the global luxury beauty market with its ‘THE WHOO Vital NAD Power Ampoule’, showcasing skin longevity technology.

On the afternoon of the 27th, the company hosted the global event 'The Power of NAD' at Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, inviting over 300 global influencers, media representatives, and distributors to share the achievements of NAD research and the brand's heritage. Notable personalities in attendance included global ambassador actress Kim Ji-won, along with actors Jung Hae-in, model Irene, and members of TWICE and (G)I-DLE.

This event highlighted more than a decade of NAD research through immersive media art and cutting-edge technologies, aimed at sharing with global customers. NAD, known for its ability to enhance skin energy and possess anti-aging repair properties, has been difficult to commercialize in cosmetics due to low skin permeability. After 13 years of research, THE WHOO's laboratory developed 'NAD Power24™' using 'NAD Transferosome' technology, which significantly improved skin penetration and delivery capabilities.

The featured product, ‘THE WHOO Vital NAD Power Ampoule’, contains 50% NAD Power24™ as a core anti-aging ingredient. Attendees were able to experience the brand's heritage through a 360-degree video, the 'NAD R&D LAB', and interactive zones that visually demonstrated the powerful NAD technologies.

A highlight of the event was the 'THE WHOO Longevity Symposium', where Professor Ryu Dong-ryeol from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) presented his groundbreaking research connecting NAD with skin vitality. He stated, 'NAD plays a crucial role in generating energy within the body and maintaining skin vitality,' and emphasized that this collaborative study has established a unique understanding of NAD Power24™'s relationship with skin.

In the ensuing beauty talk show, global ambassador Kim Ji-won unexpectedly appeared, enlivening the event. She shared personal skin care experiences with THE WHOO products, expressing pride in participating in the journey to promote luxury K-beauty on a global platform. She stated, 'I am thrilled to model for THE WHOO, which is working hard to demonstrate the excellence of luxury K-beauty to the world.'

With its differentiated heritage philosophy and dermatological technology, THE WHOO aims to solidify its position as a global K-luxury beauty brand. A representative from THE WHOO remarked, 'This event is not just a showcase of products; it's a meaningful turning point where our accumulated heritage converges with next-generation dermatological technologies. We will establish ourselves as a leading brand in the luxury K-beauty market, backed by our unique research and development capabilities.'
