Amorepacific is set to accelerate its goal of achieving 15 trillion won in revenue by 2035 through global expansions in dermabeauty, clinical skincare, and haircare sectors. The company aims to enhance the growth of its existing primary global brands while fostering new growth areas, leveraging its digital capabilities to support diverse brand entries and growth in overseas markets.
On September 11, Amorepacific hosted its 2026 Investor Day at its headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, attended by key domestic and international institutional investors and analysts. During the event, the company unveiled global growth strategies for brands such as AEstura, ILLIYOON, IOPE, as well as haircare brands like Ryo and Mise En Scene, alongside announcing operational goals and execution strategies for BY27.
Amorepacific's strategy includes significant initiatives in dermabeauty and clinical skincare. The company has set a target to achieve 1 trillion won in revenue for its dermabeauty brands by BY30 (July 2029 - June 2030). Lim Unseob, the head of Amorepacific's derma beauty unit, presented differentiated global growth strategies based on the competitive advantages of its brands.
AEstura, South Korea's leading derma cosmetic brand, plans to expand its leadership established with the 'Atobarrier 365' product into global markets. Having entered 36 countries over the past three years, it achieved over fourfold growth in global sales last year and aims to enter nine additional countries by the first half of next year.
ILLIYOON's primary focus will be the global promotion of its ceramide-rich flagship product, the Atocream, which has recently ranked fifth in the Amazon Facial Moisturizer category in the United States. The brand is set to enhance its market presence through social media campaigns alongside growth in key digital channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop.
The company’s Clinical Beauty Unit is led by Kim Jongha, who disclosed plans for IOPE's global growth, emphasizing its clinical-grade skincare products backed by specialized research in dermatological treatments. IOPE plans to strengthen its product competitiveness using PDRN and retinol, capitalizing on its entry into the U.S. Sephora market, with aspirations to enter the European market by mid-next year, aiming to grow to a brand with 500 billion won in revenue by 2035.
Haircare is also poised as a next-generation global growth driver for Amorepacific. The Hair and Beauty Unit head, Roh Byeongkwon, outlined a target of 1 trillion won in revenue for haircare by BY30, aiming for at least 60% of group revenue from international markets. The company's multi-brand portfolio will focus on premium haircare and scalp care in key markets such as the U.S., China, Japan, and Brazil, nurturing standout products for each brand. For instance, Mise En Scene’s 'Perfect Serum' has achieved the top spot in sales within the Hair Styling Oil category on Amazon U.S.
Furthermore, Amorepacific is reinforcing its digital capabilities to accelerate successfully proven growth models into global markets. Kim Youngho from the Strategic Management Division emphasized the company’s intention to expand consumer touchpoints across social media and e-commerce channels, quickly disseminating successful models across the global market. By utilizing consumer data and insights related to various markets and channels, the company aims to enhance its marketing effectiveness, aligning investment efficiencies with the growth stages of its brands.
These strategies are directed at boosting revenue growth by 10% and achieving an operating profit margin of over 11% for BY27 (July 2026 - June 2027). Amorepacific plans to continue expanding in key markets such as the Americas, Europe, and Japan, while intensively nurturing its growth categories in dermabeauty, clinical skincare, and haircare to heighten both growth and profitability.
Amorepacific CEO Kim Seunghwan stated, “Over the past several years, Amorepacific has strengthened its brand competitiveness, restructured its business portfolio, diversified its global market presence, and innovated its channels to identify and grow brands on a global scale. We will accelerate the growth of our core brands while developing dermabeauty, clinical skincare, and haircare as new global growth drivers.” He elaborated, “We aim to solidify our essential competencies in brand value, technology, and quality while swiftly responding to market changes driven by social media, e-commerce, and AI, thus ensuring sustainable growth in the global market.”
Last year, the Amorepacific Group celebrated its 80th anniversary, announcing its vision 'Create New Beauty' and its medium- to long-term goal of achieving 15 trillion won in revenue by 2035 while becoming a representative global beauty and wellness company. The 'Investor Day' solidified the roadmap to realize this vision through a comprehensive multi-brand growth strategy.
