The lip care market is evolving, shifting focus from mere hydration and exfoliation to enhancing the volume and elasticity of lips. This trend, referred to as 'Lipification', reflects a broader approach towards lip care that increasingly intersects with makeup, skincare, and anti-aging treatments. As a result, products like lip serums and plumpers, which emphasize functionality, are gaining attention in the industry.

In this context, skincare brand EIOM has introduced a new product designed to refine the smoothness and volume of lips. EIOM, developed by beauty company New Select, has launched the 'EIOM Botide NAD Plumping Lip Serum', which addresses roughness and promotes volumized lip condition.

The EAOM Botide NAD Plumping Lip Serum combines botulinum-derived peptides and deep collagen in a unique formulation, applying microneedles coated with collagen. These microneedles help smooth out lip surface roughness while the botide and peptide ingredients are designed to enhance elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. The serum also incorporates NAD to maintain a robust lip condition, while Ceramide NP forms a moisture barrier, ensuring that the lips remain hydrated and smooth even after exfoliation.

This product emphasizes 'filling care', going beyond basic hydration to simultaneously enhance the smoothness and volume of lips. A metal applicator that closely fits the lip contours allows for uniform application, with a viscous, violet melting formula that gently absorbs into the lips, providing a transparent, water-like gloss without stickiness. It is suitable for use before or after lip makeup and can be utilized as a standalone lip mask or layered over lipstick to add moisture and gloss.

Previously, EIOM has focused on volumizing care through products such as a plumping gua sha serum and jelly masks. They have also launched an eye serum that includes a metal cooling massage effect designed to fill fine lines around the eyes. This new launch extends EIOM's botide product line to the lips, suggesting that the brand is committed to providing targeted care based on the specific characteristics of different facial areas.

An EIOM representative stated, “Lip care is now being segmented beyond hydration to include roughness, condition, and volume,” adding that the company plans to expand its product range continually, focusing on 'filling care' aligned with the botide line.
