Activon, a clean beauty material specialist led by CEO Cho Yoon-ki, will participate in in-cosmetics Asia 2026, held from December 3 to 5 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
in-cosmetics Asia is a prominent trade show in the Asia-Pacific region that attracts global personal care raw material companies and cosmetics R&D and manufacturing professionals. Through this exhibition, Activon plans to showcase its technical prowess in sustainable functional materials and bio-based materials, while broadening connections with global clients and partners.
Highlighted products include Activonol-PG Green , Activonol-BDO 90 RSPO MB , and Acxosome™-Heartleaf . Activonol-PG Green is a propylene glycol derived from renewable resources, serving as a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based cosmetics materials. It offers moisturizing and formulation stabilization functions and can enhance the performance of preservative systems.
Activonol-BDO 90 RSPO MB is a biobased 2,3-butanediol that enhances the functionality of cosmetic formulations through antibacterial and moisturizing properties while addressing the demand for eco-friendly ingredient transitions. It supports an RSPO Mass Balance system that ensures a sustainable palm ingredient supply chain.
Acxosome™-Heartleaf, derived from houttuynia cordata, is a high-performance bioactive material that utilizes Activon's proprietary bio-technology, extending the company’s portfolio of differentiated functional cosmetic ingredients.
Activon develops and produces high-functional materials for cosmetics and personal care by combining green and bio technologies. Their main product categories include preservative and preservation solutions that reduce traditional preservative usage while providing antibacterial and preservation functions, as well as sustainable functional materials utilizing bioactives, biomass, and recycled resources.
During the exhibition, Activon will hold consultations regarding the characteristics and application formulations of its products at booth AE41, alongside a joint booth W10 with Thailand's global ingredient supplier, Summit Chemical. This initiative aims to discover new clients and explore cooperative possibilities with local distribution and business partners.
Currently pursuing a listing on the KOSDAQ, Activon plans to leverage this exhibition as a platform to expand its international customer and distribution partnership base and materialize its global growth potential. The company expects that the business opportunities and market responses obtained from the exhibition will positively contribute to highlighting its sustainable and bio-material capabilities, along with expansion potential during the listing process.
An Activon representative remarked, "This exhibition represents a significant opportunity to introduce Activon's sustainable material technologies and exosome-based bio-materials to the Asian market. We aim to expand our international client base and business opportunities in response to the growing demand for eco-friendly and high-functionality raw materials in the global cosmetics industry."
